In this second part of Module Two we are introduced to the process of painting the face of Jesus.

This is the proplasmos technique, executed in egg tempera on a gessoed board but utilising elements of the membrane technique.

It presumes a knowledge about how to draw the face of Jesus, understanding the particular style in which the iconic face is created. If you are not sure about that then please see the first part of Module Two.
